CHATTOGRAM, Nov 29, 2024 (BSS)- Land Advisor A F Hassan Ariff has said the government will handle the miscreants with strict hands, if anyone try to create unrest.
 
He said the interim government is pledge bound to handle everything with responsibility. So, any law and order situation will be controlled with strict hand, he said.

The adviser said this in a views exchange meeting with the families of martyrs and leaders of the July student upsurge at circuit house here today.

Hassan Ariff extended thanks to the people of Chattogram for controlling their emotion after killing of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif.

National unity is needed to take forward the country, he said, adding that the fascists are out to create chaos in the country.

Addressing the programme as special guest adviser for industries Adilur Rahman Khan said, there is no place for conspirators in Bangladesh.

Vested quarters are trying to destabilize the country, which would not be happened under any circumstances,” he said.

The present government is working with the families of the martyrs and the injured to take forward the work of reforming Bangladesh and arrange a free and fair election, he said.

Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Farida Khanam was in the chair while City Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain, local political leaders and senior government officials were present.
