DHAKA, Jan 14, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam today said four reform commissions out of six will submit their respective reports to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus tomorrow.
 
"Members of the four commissions will go to the Chief Adviser's Office in Tejgaon and will hand over their reports. The chief adviser and other advisers will be present there," he told a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy in the evening.
 
Alam said there will be a discussion that is expected to continue till 1:30 pm, while they (commissions) will share the elaborate description of their findings and recommendations.
 
After the meetings with the Chief Adviser, the media will be briefed at the Foreign Service Academy at 3 pm tomorrow (Wednesday), he said, adding that they are not sure yet who among the advisers will brief the media.
 
Replying to a question, the press secretary said the media would be informed of the key points of the reports of the reform commissions.
 
Adviser Mahfuj Alam, Senior Assistant Press Secretary Foyez Ahammad and Assistant Press Secretary Suchismita Tithi were also present.
 
Earlier, the interim government expected five out of six reform commissions to submit their reports by January 15 in line with the extended timeframe.
 
The six commissions are the Electoral System Reform Commission headed by Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, the Police Administration Reform Commission headed by Sarfaraz Hossain, the Judiciary Reform Commission headed by Justice Shah Abu Naeem Mominur Rahman, Anti-Corruption Reform Commission headed by TIB's Dr Iftekharuzzaman, Public Administration Reform Commission headed by Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, and Constitution Reform Commission headed by Distinguished Prof at Illinois State University Dr Ali Riaz.
