Jamaat Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman today inaugurated the houses and handed over the keys to the flood victims and distributed chocolates among the children. Other two house recipients are Manwara Begum and Md Manik.
The unprecedented and devastating floods, triggered by onrush of water coming from upstream, washed away houses of many people in Feni leaving them homeless in the last August.

Jamaat built three houses on their lands at a total cost of Taka 5 lakh, he added.
Talking to BSS, Mitul Chandra Das said he was very happy to get a new house.
He said the devastating flood had damaged his house, making him a refugee temporarily. But he could not build a new house after meeting his family needs with the meager income by working at a hardware shop.
Noting that this house from Jamaat has benefited him a lot, he said Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman also provided him cash assistance.
Feni District Jamaat Ameer Mufti Abdul Hannan said the Indian people cut 900 feet of the Bollamukhar dam at the zero line near Parshuram in Feni while the released water from the upstream created an unprecedented flood in the country’s southeastern districts including Feni.
