DHAKA, Feb 4, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today arrested the main accused of a sensational murder case from Turag thana area here for his alleged involvement in murdering his wife in Faridpur.    

The arrestee is identified as Sujan Fakir, 26, son of Munnaf Fakir, hailing from Sadarpur thana of Faridpur district, said in a RAB press release here.

A team of RAB-2 conducted a raid on Kamarpara water pump area under Turag thana and held Sujan this afternoon.

According to case statement, Sujan was the main accused in the murder case filed with Sadarpur thana in Faridpur in 2024 for killing his wife for dowry. The victim's father filed the case.
