Bangladesh Swadhinata Forum organized the discussion with its president Abu Naser Muhammad Rahmatullah in the chair.

About vandalism of Dhanmondi-32 residence of Sheikh Mujib, Hafiz Uddin said, "Everything will be clear by today who did this incident and who is responsible for it? Once getting complete information, we will express our reaction to media and the people".
"We think that some people may try to create chaos in order to destroy democracy and create obstacle to democracy for the days to come. We will try to find out if there is interference from neighboring country in particular," he said.
The vandalism under the 'Bulldozer Procession' programme began on the day of the completion of sixth months of ouster of Sheikh Hasina, who fled to India, he said.
After many struggles and movement, the nation got freed Bangladesh it wanted through nine-month Liberation War in 1971, he said.
"But immediately after independence, our dreams were shattered. The goals we fought for - equality, human dignity, social justice - gradually disappeared into the air," he said.
"Instead of democracy, a one-party state was established. Where there were no press, no political parties and no freedom of expression for the common people. Such a state was established in 1975 under the leadership of Awami League," he said.
