DHAKA, Feb 7, 2025 (BSS) – The students-people, who have previously taken treatment in private hospitals for receiving injuries during the July-August-2024 Mass Uprising, are requested to submit their applications and bills to the Special Cell on Mass Uprising or the Civil Surgeon’s Office of the concerned district for reimbursement.
 
The application form in this regard is available on the website of the Special Cell on Mass Uprising www.musc.portal.gov.bd, said a notification today, signed by the team leader (joint secretary) of the special cell for mass uprisings Md Mashiur Rahman.
 
Earlier, such a decision was taken in a meeting held at the Health Services Division on January 9 regarding the treatment and distribution of health cards to students and public injured in the July-August 2024 mass uprising.

In that meeting it was decided that those who have previously received treatment in private hospitals will submit their applications and bills to the special cell related to mass uprisings or to the civil surgeon's office of the concerned district.

The bills received by the cell will be sent to the special cell for mass uprisings after necessary verification by the Directorate General of Health Services while the bills received by the Civil Surgeon's Office will be sent to the cell by the Civil Surgeon after verification.

It was decided that this cell will take measures to pay the claimed amounts in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.
