DHAKA, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested 48 individuals in a special
drive during the last 24 hours in connection of their various criminal
activities.

Mohammadpur Police Station under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted
the drive from 04.00pm on Sunday to till 08:00 am today, said a DMP media
release here today.

During the drive, led by Deputy Commissioner of Tejgaon Division Md Ibne
Mizan, illegal drugs and various home-made weapons were recovered from their
possession, the release added.

Police said the arrested include identified drug dealers, professional active
robbers, extortionists, terrorists, thieves, warranted accused and criminals
involved in various crimes.

Later, the arrestees have been sent to the court, police added.
