DHAKA, Feb 12, 2025 (BSS) – In the nationwide joint forces crackdown dubbed 'Operation Devil Hunt' 591 more miscreants were arrested in the last 24 hours.
   
The Police Headquarters (PHQ) in a short message today said 1686 more were arrested from across the country. Of them, 1095 were arrested in various criminal cases.

During Wednesday's operation, one foreign made pistol, one Chinese rifle (looted arms of police), two LGs, four one shutter guns, three bullets, 17 cartages and 20 crude bombs were seized.

On Tuesday, 1775 individuals were arrested from different parts of the country. Of the
total arrestees, 607 were nabbed under the Operation Devil Hunt and 1168 in different criminal cases.  

According to the PHQ, the joint forces earlier on Saturday and Sunday,
arrested 1308 miscreants from across the country.
 
With the aim of bringing the anarchists and their associates under the
law across the country, the 'Operation Devil Hunt' campaign has been
launched from February 8.
