SAVAR, Feb 17, 2025 (BSS)- Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of BNP, of Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit today conducted a campus cleanup programme following the ending of the admission test of the university. 

Prof Nazrul Islam of Mathematics department and member of Nationalist Teachers’ Forum of JU unit, inaugurated the programme around 4.30pm.

About 60 leaders and activists of JU unit Chhatra dal participated at the programme.  

Convener of JU JCD Jahir Uddin Babor and Member Secretary Wasim Ahmed Anik led the cleanup drive from the main entrance to central Shaheed Minar of the university.

The campus became full of wastage as the admission seekers littered waste papers, food boxes and other dirty materials everywhere on the campus. 

“Considering the importance of making the campus tidy and clean, we conducted the cleanup campaign today as admission tests are over,” Babor said.
