CHANDPUR, Feb 17, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Vice Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo has said all the conspirators who want to hold local polls before the national ones would be democratically resist. 

He said this at a public meeting organized by the BNP Chandpur district chapter at Hasan Ali School ground this afternoon. 

Local BNP organized the meeting to press home its various demands, including keeping the price spiral at the tolerable level, improving the law and order situation, declaring electoral roadmap and resisting the plot hatched by the fallen fascist cliques.

The senior BNP leader urged everybody to remain vigilant so that none can hatch any conspiracy in future.

He also demanded of the Interim Government immediately declare the date of the next general polls so that the country’s people can be assured of the general elections. 

The BNP is working to uphold democracy in the country, he said.

District BNP President Sheikh Farid Ahmed Manik presided over the meeting. 

Among others, district BNP general secretary Advocate Salimullah Selim, BNP Organizing Secretary (Cumilla Division) M Selim Bhuiyan, co-organizing secretary Md Mostak Mia and former MP Lion Harunur Rashid were present.
