HABIGANJ, Feb 18, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Central Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie has said that Sheikh Hasina and her associates will not be spared and there will be no mercy for them. 

“If the current interim government does not take action against Hasina and her associates, after being elected by the people BNP will ensure justice for them’’, said Annie while speaking at a rally here today. 

Habiganj district unit BNP organized the rally demanding measures to control rising commodity prices, improve law and order, act against dictatorial criminals, and establish a clear electoral roadmap.

He also mentioned that BNP wants to run the country with the love and support of the people, in contrast to the Awami League's history of tyranny.

Annie said Awami League leaders fled the country after committing injustices against the people over the past 17 years. 

BNP Central Organizing Secretary GK Gauche chaired the rally while District BNP Joint Convener former MP Shammi Akhter conducted it.  

BNP leaders including BNP Chairperson's Advisor Dr. Sakhawat Hasan Chowdhury Jiban, BNP International Affairs Secretary Ahmed Ali Mukib and central BNP’s Sylhet division co-organising secretary Mifta Siddique, Kalim Uddin Ahmed Milon and ex-MP-Sujat Miah, spoke at the rally.
