DHAKA, Feb 23, 2025 (BSS) - Former adviser to the Caretaker Government AMM Showkat Ali 
died of old-age complications at a city hospital today.

He was 82, family sources said.

He left behind a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and will-wishers to mourn his death.

Ali was adviser to the ministries of Health and Family Welfare, Food and Disaster Management 
from 2007 to 2009.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Gulshan Society Mosque. Later, he will be buried at the 
Banani Graveyard tonight.
