THAKURGAON, Feb 23, 2025 (BSS) – BNP vice chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu has said BNP will not retreat without establishing democracy.

He said this while addressing a rally organized by Thakurgaon district unit of the party at district public club ground today.

Claiming BNP as the most popular political party in the country, Dudu said BNP is enjoying its popularity at home and abroad, and the party will certainly come to power.

Without mentioning any name Dudu said, a political party cannot accept the BNP’s popularity at this moment.

Dudu said, “The family members of Sheikh Hasina plundered the country’s wealth for the last 17 years. Every member of her family is thief. There is no bank in the country that her family didn’t rob.”

“If BNP comes to power, it will take steps to investigate illegal wealth of Awami League ministers, MPs and grassroots leaders," he added.

With district BNP general secretary Mirza Faysal Ameen in the chair, the meeting was addressed among others by divisional leader Abdul Khalek and Aminul Islam.
