TANGAIL, Mar 10, 2025 (BSS)- BNP’s publicity secretary Sultan Salauddin Tuku has said conspiracies are going on to delay the elections which would ultimately help the fallen fascists.
He said this while addressing a meeting in memory of former Tangail district BNP vice-president and valiant freedom fighter Habibul Haque Khan Benu here this afternoon.
Tuku said, it’s the reality that BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman spearheaded the student-people movement which was culminated with the fall of an authoritarian regime.
He said ghosts of fascists are trying to destabilize the country and fish in trouble water. Therefore, the election road map should be announced soon.
Presided over by Mahmudul Haque Sanu, president of the Habibul Haque Khan Benu Memorial Society, the programme was also addressed by district BNP president Hasanuzzammil Shahin, general secretary Nurul Islam, BNP leaders Sadequl Alam Khoka, Ashraf Paheli, Shafiqur Rahman Khan, Jubo Dal leader Khandaker Rashedul Alam and Shah Alam of Tanti Dal.
Expressing deep concern over the recent incident of rapping a minor child in Magura, Tuku said, the interim government completely failed to control the law and order.
It is not possible to control the law and order without an elected government, he said adding that BNP will remain on the streets until rights of the people are established.
