DHAKA, March 11, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a key 
suspect linked to fraud ring in the capital's Khilgaon area.

Acting on tip-off, a team of the RAB-3 conducted a raid in Taltala area under 
Khilgaon at 08:30pm on Monday and rounded up Belal Hossain, alias Sabbir, 42, 
who was involved in land related fraudulence since long, said a RAB media 
release today.
 
During the initial interrogation, the arrested suspect admitted that he had 
been targeting land buyers for a long period, deceiving customers by offering 
land at low prices with various enticements and later defrauding them huge 
amount of money.

There are several fraud cases against him in the capital's Banani, Motijheel, 
Khilkhet, and Gopalganj police stations. 

Legal action has been taken against the arrestee, the release added.
