Dhaka, March 13, 2025 (BSS) - BNP backed white panel teachers of Dhaka University (DU) today demanded exemplary punishment of the rapists of 8-year old Magura girl.

In a statement, they  expressed deep shock at the death of Magura girl and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Covenor of the organization Prof. Dr. Morshed Hasan Khan, Joint Convener Prof. Dr. Abdus Salam and Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Sarkar signed the statement.

 
Her death is a clear indication of moral degradation in our society, the statement said urging the interim government to take stern actions against the culprits.

Besides, they also expressed concern over the incidents of rape and harassment of women and children in different parts of the country.
