CHATTOGRAM, March 15, 2025 (BSS) - Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party Chairman Mujibur Rahman Manju today said there is no scope of the interim government to back down without completion of the desired reforms, proper justice of the perpetrators and holding a fair election.
“The nation expects quick response from the interim government on these three important issues-reforms, justice, election. But, many of us have already become quite impatient,” he said while addressing an Ifter Mahfil at a city hotel.
Politicians, educationalists, journalists, businessmen and leaders of different professional bodies joined the ifter mahfil.
Mujibur said, “We, who are performing various responsibilities during this government, have regained our recognition in society through this change.”
He said, “If fascism returns after 20 or 25 years, we and all of you who have fought will have to face trial if there are no reforms and if there is no justice.”
He said the government must start a visible trial of the fascists, bringing law and order situation under control and creating a new precedent for Bangladesh by holding a remarkable election in the country’s history.
Manju said, “our blood, dream, hope will be go in vain if it is not happened.” He urged all to remain united to this end.
AB Party Energy Secretary Engineer Lokman Hossain, central Industries and Commerce Secretary Ashraf Mahmud Rummel and Executive Committee Member AB Siddique, among others, spoke at the event with AB Party Chattogram Metropolitan convener Advocate Ghulam Faruk in the chair.
