DHAKA, Mar 20, 2025 (BSS) – BNP Chairperson's Adviser Zainul Abedin Farroque today claimed that Bangladesh deposed premier Sheikh Hasina is hatching anti-state conspiracy after taking refuge to India.

“Sheikh Hasina is trying to destabilize the country sitting in India. Therefore, I request Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus not to lose moral as political parties will make constructive criticisms of the government as well as sit for discussion. We are supporting you and will continue to support you,” he said.

Farroque said BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman clearly said that if the interim government loses, Bangladesh will lose and the nationalist forces will lose.

He was addressing as the chief guest a discussion on “Constitutional Rights and Acceptable Elections' organized by the Jatiyatabadi Projonmo 71 Central Committee at Maulana Akram Khan Hall of the Jatiya Press Club.

Addressing the interim government, the BNP leader said, "Some people around you are planning to disappoint you. Warn them or expel them. Many are conspiring to sabotage the elections. We must maintain unity among ourselves and stop all conspiracies."

Stating that the destruction of tyrants is inevitable, the BNP chairperson's adviser said, "The rulers who have done injustice to the people of the country in the past have been brutally ousted from power and completely destroyed. The tyrannical Awami League is an example of that. Hasina's conspiracy to destroy Bangladesh led to her downfall in the student movement."

BNP’s Volunteer Affairs Secretary Mir Sarafat Ali Safu, Executive Committee Members Abu Naser Md. Rahmatullah, Advocate Rafiq Sikder, Matsyajibi Dal Member Secretary Abdur Rahim, Member Ismail Hossain Siraji and Vice-President of the organization Sharif Hossain were present at the discussion.

Jatiyatabadi Projonmo 71 founding President Dhali Aminul Islam Ripon chaired the event which was moderated by acting General Secretary Ayub Ahmed Shahin.
