MUNSHIGANJ, March 23, 2025 (BSS) – As per the directives of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, District BNP has provided financial assistance to the families of seven martyrs, who were killed in the movement during the previous Awami League government and the anti-discrimination student movement.

On the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-fitr, District BNP Member Secretary Md Mohiuddin Ahmed handed over cheques to the members of the martyrs families as financial assistance at Sadar Police Station office at Muktarpur in the district today.

BNP General Secretary of Upazila Sadar Unit Saidur Rahman Fakir, District Jubo Dal Convener Dewan Md Mojibur Rahman and Member Secretary Masun Rana were present, among others, on the occasion.

Family members of the July–August uprising martyr Shahrik Chowdhury Manik, martyr Sajal Molla, martyr Riazul Farazi and martyr Nur Mohammad Dipjor were present.

Family members of martyrs BNP activists Hadis Ali, martyrs Shahidul Islam and martyrs Akbar Hossain were also present.
