KHULNA, March 24, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Prof Mia Golam Parwar said July uprising martyrs including Abu Sayed and Mir Mugdho have shown the path how justice is established by sacrificing their lives.

"They have shown us that justice must be established in this country, even at the cost of life. However, true justice cannot be achieved without establishment of the laws of the holy Quran," said the former lawmaker at an iftar mahfil as the chief guest, organized by Khulna district chapter of Jamaat on Sunday.

Golam Parwar noted that it is difficult for a person to follow Islam in personal sphere when laws of Quran are absent in state affairs.

He urged all follow teachings of Ramadan for the rest of the year and implement laws of the Quran in every sector of the state.
The Jamaat leader requested everyone to be united to build a prosperous nation.

Golam Parwar, however, claimed some political leaders influenced by foreign supremacy have been attempting to rehabilitate Awami League, the party fell on August 5.

"Even after bidding farewell to fifteen years of fascism and envisioning a new Bangladesh led by the interim government, hegemonic forces are once again attempting to expand their influence. They're even plotting conspiracy to isolate Islamic forces," he added.

Jamaat's Khulna district unit ameer Maulana Emran Hussain presided over the programme while secretary general Munshi Mizanur Rahman moderated it. Jamaat's central executive member Maulana Abul Kalam Azad spoke as the special guest.

Among others, former Khulna-6 lawmaker Shah Muhammad Ruhul Quddus, Jamaat's majlis-e-shura member Master Shafiqul Alam and president of BNP's Khulna city unit Advocate S M Shafiqul Alam Mona, addressed the event.
