NARSINGDI, March 24, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon today said that no autocrat will come back to the country in future for looting people’s wealth.

“We have to ensure that the destitute and poor farmers, labourers and hard-earned people of the country can lead their life with happiness and peace,” he said this while addressing the Eid gift distribution ceremony at Taroa Kabul Shah Majar ground of Narsingdi municipality as the chief guest. 

The Narsingdi Chamber of Commerce and Industries organized the Eid gift distribution ceremony for the poor and helpless people on the eve of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitre. 

Later, sarees and lungis were distributed among 1,500 poor and helpless people at that time.

Chaired by the President of Narsingdi Chamber of Commerce and Industries Rashedul Hassan Rintu, the function was addressed, among others, by chamber Vice -President Abdul Kaiyum Molla, Hasib Ahmed Molla and its Director Awlad Hossain Molla.

The BNP Joint Secretary General urged all to remain alert as no looters can play with the fate of the general people of the country through corruption and misrule. 
All the major problems of the country would be solved by establishing people’s friendly government in future, he added.

Khokon called upon all including political leaders, social elites, industrialists and businessmen to come forward for making the poor people as self-reliant.
