PANCHAGARH, March 24, 2025 (BSS) – Sarjis Alam, chief organizer (northern region) of National Citizen Party (NCP), has urged people to cast their votes seeing the efficiency of candidates, not seeing the party name or symbol.
“On behalf of NCP, we will reach your doorstep very soon. We believe that something new is coming in the future Bangladesh where no one will give vote seeing the party name or symbol,” he said.
Sarjis Alam said this while addressing a roadside rally at Bijoy Chattar in Debiganj Upazila of Panchagarh today.
Sarjis added that previously the leaders used common people by giving fake hopes to the people during election and neglecting them afterwards.
“They seek votes on the eve of the elections and when the vote is over, they don’t provide any service without money,” he observed.
“They even take money for appointing a peon, issuing a VGD card or for inclusion of a name of a person in the list for old age allowance,” he said adding “this should not happen in the new Bangladesh.”
Sarjis said, “If you take something from them once a day, they will suck your blood in the remaining five years in power.”
This opportunity cannot be given to any member, chairman, mayor, MP, or minister,” he added.
Calling upon people not to follow any person, party or symbol blindly, he urged people to hlp them to correct their mistakes, saying their new party is always ready to listen to people.
In the regional language, Sarjis made a commitment to the people that he will try the best to work for people and keep his word.
