DHAKA, Mar 24, 2025 (BSS) – BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today called upon journalists to present real facts on various issues so that none can create confusion.

“Debates are being created over various issues. Media can play a role here to correctly present the facts before the nation to help fight the conspiracy," he said.

Tarique Rahman said this while addressing an iftar and doa mahfil virtually from London which was organized by BNP's media cell at Ladies Club here.

Tarique Rahman said evil attempts are underway to make confrontation between the army and the people.

“I think there is definitely a conspiracy behind this,” he said.

He urged all to remain alert against such conspiracy.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas also spoke on the occasion.

BNP Media Cell convener Prof Moudud Alamgir Hossain Pavel chaired the event which was moderated by its Member Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie.

BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed, acting chairman’s adviser Dr. Mahdi Amin, Jugantar editor Abdul Hai Sikder, Amra BNP Paribar convener Atiqur Rahman Rumon and media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan were present.
