ACC DG for grooming up children with patriotic spirit to build corruption free country

GAIBANDHA, April 3, 2025 (BSS) - Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Director General (DG-Investigation-2) Motahar Hossain has underscored the need for grooming up children with patriotic spirit to build a corruption free Bangladesh.

“As the today’s children are the future of the country and they would lead the nation towards desired development in course of time, it is our foremost duty to awaken patriotism among them from their childhood,” he said.  

“If we are able to make the children aware about patriotism, the country would be turned into a corruption free one in future,” he added.
 
The ACC DG was addressing a function organized to distribute scholarship among the meritorious students of different high schools and colleges at Dr. R.A Gani School and College in Sadullapur upazila of the district Tuesday afternoon.

Ayub Ali- RahimaKhatun Foundation organized the function.

DC Choudhury Muazzam Ahmed addressed the function as the chief guest. Civil Surgeon Dr. Rafiquzzaman, UNO Quazi Mohammad Anik Islam, president of BNP, district unit, Dr. Mainul Hasan Sadik, general secretary Mahadunnabi Titul and organizer of National Citizen Party, central unit, Nazmul Hasan Shohag spoke at the event as the special guests.

The speakers urged the teachers of the respective academic institutions to provide the students with quality education for building themselves as patriotic and worthy citizens of the country in a bid to build a discrimination and corruption free happy, prosperous Bangladesh.

Earlier, close relatives of the families of the martyred and injured persons of the upazila were given honorary crests for their role during the July-August uprising.
