DHAKA, April 6, 2025 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of police tonight arrested former lawmaker Kazi Keramat Ali elected in Rajbari-1 oncstituency from the capital city's Mohakhali area.

Deputy Commissioner of DB (Media and Public Relations) Mohammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter.

The arrestee was accused in multiple cases including attack on the anti-discrimination student movement.

Keramat will be produced before the court tomorrow.
