DHAKA, April 11, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Pavilion in the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, was officially inaugurated today as part of Bangladesh's participation in the expo to showcase the economic development, progress, trade potential and culture to the world,
Commerce ministry additional secretary (Export) Md. Abdur Rahim Khan and Ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan Md. Daud Ali jointly inaugurated the pavilion this morning, said a press release received here today.
Abdur Rahim Khan, at the inaugural ceremony, highlighted the significance of Bangladesh’s participation in this global event, saying, “Showcasing exportable products at the World Expo will help promote the country internationally and attract more interest from foreign buyers”.
Officials from commerce ministry, Export Promotion Bureau and the embassy of Bangladesh in Japan were also present at the ceremony.
The Bangladesh Pavilion features 18 thematic zones, each dedicated to displaying the country’s promising export items.
The World Expo 2025 will formally open on Sunday with host Japan aiming to brings together people and innovations from around the world in an effort to address issues facing humankind on a global scale.
