DHAKA, April 21, 2025 (BSS) - The National People's Front (NPF) today held meeting with the National Consensus Commission (NCC) on reform issues.
The meeting was held at the LD Hall of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, according to a press release issued by the NCC.
A six-member delegation led by Tipu Biswas, coordinator of the Central Committee of NPF participated in the discussion.
Other members were Litu Biswas, Debashish Poddar Bapi, Kamruzzaman Firoz, KM Delwar Hossain and Taimur Khan Apu.
Vice-Chairman of NCC Prof. Ali Riaz, members Badiul Alam Majumder, Safar Raj Hossain, Justice Emdadul Haque, Dr Iftekharuzzaman and Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Monir Haider were present.
The National Consensus Commission, headed by Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus was formed to build national consensus on reforms.
Earlier, the NCC sent a set of reform proposals to 39 political parties and holding meeting with those parties to reach consensus on constitutional, judicial and governance issues.
The commission requested political parties to provide specific opinions on the important recommendations. So far, the commission received opinions from 35 political parties.
