DHAKA, April 27, 2025(BSS) - The visiting delegation of Communist Party of China (CPC) held a meeting with the delegation of Islami Andolon Bangladesh (IAB) at a city hotel here yesterday (Saturday).

Director General of the international department of the central committee of CPC South and South East Asia wing PENG XIUBIN led the Chinese delegation while Presidium Member of the IAB Syed Mosaddek Billa Al Madani led his party delegation during the meeting.

During the meeting, the delegation leaders discussed various issues including the existing political situation of the country, thoughts of the youth, institutional reform programmes of the interim government and investment scenario of Bangladesh.  

The IAB delegates highlighted the present and future planning of their party and the conditions of different political parties after the July uprising.
 
They also discussed the matters relating to July mass killing, trial of crimes against humanity, ongoing reforms proggrame by the interim government and the positions of the IAB.

Both the delegation emphasized on strengthening the cultural and commercial relations between the people of both the countries.

IAB International Affairs Secretary Prof. Dr Belal Nur Azizi, central president of Islami Juba Andolon Atiqur Rahman Mujahid and its International Affairs Secretary Prof Imtiaz Ahmed Sajal, were also included in the delegation.
