DHAKA, Sept 11, 2026 (BSS) - Armed Police Battalion (APBn) at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport has arrested three people and seized gold ornaments, officials.

They said the arrested persons were identified as Md Nasir Molla, 40, Sohag Sheikh, 24, and Md Hasan Mia, 23.

The APBn issued a press release here today saying that the APBn arrested them last night from a footpath adjacent to the airport's roundabout area.

It said police suspected them and searched their bodies and found 861.8 grams of gold ornaments worth of over Tk 1.36 core.

A case was filed against the arrestees with the airport police station in this regard.
