DHAKA, Dec 30, 2022 (BSS)- EXIM Bank 33rd National Men's Handball competition will begin from tomorrow (Saturday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.

Bank Association of Bangladesh and EXIM Bank Limited's chairman Nazrul Islam Mujumder will formally inaugurate the meet as the chief guest while EXIM Bank managing director and chief executive officer Md Firoz Hossain will present there as the special guest.

Bangladesh Handball Federation's (BHF) president AKM Burul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the opening ceremony.

Defending champions Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, defending runners-up Border Guard Bangladesh, third place finishers Bangladesh Police Handball Club and fourth place finishers Chapainawabganj District Sports Association (DSA) will directly play in the final round of the competition.

On the other hand, thirty one DSAs will participate in the first and second round of the meet, oragnised by BHF.

The eight group champion teams from first and second round will play in the knock out stage. The four winning teams of the knock out stage will qualify in the final round.
