DHAKA, Nov 23, 2023 (BSS)-Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) moved pre

quarterfinals of the Walton-DRU Media Cricket tournament beating Bangladesh
Television (BTV) by six wickets held at Paltan ground adjoining the
Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city on Thursday.

Put to bat first, BTV scored a small total of 58 from their allotted six
overs and in reply BSS easily reached the target with six wickets in hand.

Malay Dutta of BSS continued his prolific form scoring 21 runs and took one
wicket in the match. He was later named the player of the match for his
impressive all-round performance.

In the day's other matches, Protidiner Bangladesh (85) beat Asian TV (58) by
27 runs, Banglavision (68) beat Amader Shomoy (67) by five wickets, Akhon TV
(85) defeated The New Age (83) by five wickets, The Business Standard (25)
beat Manab Zamin (24) by six wickets, Daily Inqilab (61) beat News 24 TV (60)
by five wickets, Jago News (116) beat RTV (54) by 61 runs, The Daily Star
(87) defeated Deepto TV (86) by three wickets, ATN News (99) defeated The
Daily Sun (72) by 27 runs and Ekattor TV (112) beat Ekushey TV (81) by 31
runs.
