DHAKA, Dec 10, 2023 (BSS) - Chief of Army Staff and Bangladesh Olympic
Association President General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed today unveiled the logo of
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon-2024 at the Army Multipurpose Complex
in Dhaka Cantonment.

At the function, the army chief said: "Bangladesh is progressing along with
our sports arena. The main goal of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon-
2024 is to present the Bengali ethnicity, tradition and culture before the
world and encourage the youth to lead a healthy lifestyle in memory of Father
of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman."

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon 2024 under the supervision of the
Bangladesh Army will be held on January 26, 2024, at the Sheikh Hasina
Sarani, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release said.

The registration process for the marathon officially started today and will
remain open to the public till January 10, 2024.
