DHAKA, Dec 12, 2023 (BSS)- Gopalganj Kabaddi team and Bangladesh Police

Kabaddi team won their respective matches of the Runner Victory Day Kabaddi
competition held at National Kabaddi Stadium in the city on Tuesday.

In the day's first match, Gopalganj Kabaddi team beat Fire Service and Civil
Defense by 42-29 points with three creditable lona while Bangladesh Police
Kabaddi team defeated DMP Kabaddi Club by 43-34 points with two creditable
lona.

After the match, Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) member and member
secretary of the V-day Kabaddi Competition Monir Hossain, said: "This time,
the Victory Day Kabaddi Competition is being held with great splendor. Many
foreign players also participated in the meet which has increased the level
of competition. Our players are testing their strength and ....we'll get a
chance to pick many players from this tournament. The selected players will
join the national team pipeline."

BKF's member Amzad Hossain Majnu said: "Today is the last day of the group
stage and two semi-finals will be held tomorrow (Wednesday). Every match is
going pretty well this time and hopefully, this consistency will continue
throughout the competition."
