DHAKA, Feb 15, 2024 (BSS)- Two eighth round matches of the Bangladesh Premier League Football will be held tomorrow (Friday) at two separate venues across the country.
On the day, holders Bashundhara Kings will take on Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Bashundhara Kings area in Dhaka at around 5.15 pm while Bangladesh Police Football Club face Fortis Football Club at Muktijoddha Smrity Stadium in Rajshahi at around 3 pm.
Bashundhara Kings currently dominate the league table with 18 points from seven matches while the traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society collected seven points playing the same number of matches.
On the other hand, Bangladesh Police Football Club bagged seven points from seven matches while Fortis Football Club secured six points playing the same number of outings.
In the remaining eight round matches on the following day (Saturday), Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will play against Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh, Abahani Limited, Dhaka meet Chittagong Abahani Limited at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj and Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra take on Brothers Union Club at Bashundhara Kings Arena in Dhaka.
