DHAKA, Feb 17, 2024 (BSS) - Ripon Hosen slammed a brilliant hat-trick as Bhabaniganj Football Academy of Rajshahi thrashed Anowara Football Academy of Chattogram by 8-1 goals in a final round match of the BFF Academy Championship football on Saturday.
 
Apart from Ripon's hat-trick with four goals, Shariar Suvom, Tasrim Alom, Ruhul Amin and Muntasir supported him with a lone goal each for the winners' in the one-sided affairs held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur.
 
Khalifatul Abid scored a consolation goal for Anowara Football Academy. 
 
In the day's another match held at the same venue, Santos Football Academy of Rangpur blanked Star Football Academy of Noakhali by 2-0 goals with Nazmul and Sajib scoring one goal each for the winning side.
