DHAKA, Feb 22, 2024 (BSS) - FM Manon Reja Neer became unbeaten champion in the MS Overseas Ltd. FIDE Standard Rating Chess Tournament that concluded at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room on Thursday.
Neer earned eight points out from nine games to clinch the title. IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin became unbeaten runner-up and FM Md. Sharif Hossain finished third with 7.5 points each.
CM Chanchal Kumer Ghosh became 4th, CM Sakline Mostafa Sajid became 5th and FM Mehdi Hasan Parag became 6th with 7 points each, FM Mohammad Javed became 7th, Tutul Dhar became 8th, CM Mahtabuddin Ahmed became 9th, Abdullah Al Raison became 10th, FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman became 11th and A.
