DHAKA, March 27, 2024 (BSS)-Shakil Hossain scored a brace as Sadharan Bima 
Corporation earned a comfortable 6-2 goal victory over Azad Sporting Club in 
the first match of Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League held 
at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Wednesday.

Apart from Shakil's two goals, Rabbi Salehim Rocky, Jamil Bin Talib Shihab, 
Hridoy Hossain, Indian recruit Ashu netted one goal apiece for Sadharan Bima.

Mohabbat and Sahir netted one goal apiece for Azad Sporting Club.

Shakil put Sadharan Bima ahead early scoring a field goal in the 7th minute 
and he doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 10th minute of the 
match. 

Mohabbat pulled one back scoring the first goal for Azad in the 36th minute 
of the third quarter while Ashu made the score line 3-1 scoring the third 
goal for Sadharan Bima in the 40th minute.

Shihab scored the fourth goal for Bima in the next minute.

Rabbi Salehin scored the fifth goal for Bima in the 52nd minute of the fourth 
quarter while Sahir reduced the margin scoring the second goal for Azad in 
the 53rd minute.

Hridoy sealed the victory scoring the sixth goal for Bima in the 55th minute 
of the match.
