DHAKA, May 10, 2024 (BSS) - FM Manon Reja Neer of Bangladesh Navy took solo lead in the points table with eight points after the 9th round matches of Elegant Invitational FIDE Rating Chess tournament held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room on Friday.

 
IM Abu Sufian Shakil following the leader with seven points and CM Sakline Mostafa Sajid of Bangladesh Police placed at third position with six points.

In the day's ninth round matches, FM Manan Reja Neer beat WFM Noshin Anjum, IM Abu Safian Shakil beat FM Mehdi Hasan Parag, CM Sakline Mostafa Sajid defeated FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman and FM Nayem Haque beat FM Md Taibur Rahman.
