maintained his top slot in the points table with eight points after the tenth
round of SAIF POWERTEC 48th Chess Championship held at Bangladesh Chess
Federation hall-room on Wednesday.
Int'l Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh Ansar is leading the points
table with 7.5 points.
Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman of Bangladesh Ansar stands at third position with
seven points.
Reigning grandmaster Enamul Hossain Razib of Bangladesh Ansar placed at
fourth position with 6.5 points while grandmaster Niaz Murshed of Bangladesh
Ansar is in fifth position with six points.
In the day's tenth round matches, FM Manon Reja Neer defeated FM Debaraj
Chattrejee of Barisal. FM Manon Reja Neer played with black pieces choose the
Benoni Defense against FM Debaraj Chattrejee and won after fifty seven moves.
IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman defeated IM Abu Sufian Shakil of Bangladesh Biman.
