DHAKA, Aug 21, 2024 (BSS)-The toss of the first Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan has been delayed by our outfield at Rawalpindi today.
The incessant overnight rain caused the wet outfield, keeping the players of the two teams confined into the dressing room.
The next inspection is at 12 PM (Bangladesh Time), according to message sent by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) media department, after which the umpires will decide when the toss will be held.
Both of the teams will kick off its long Test cricket season with this match. Bangladesh will play eight Tests in just four months including this two-match series against Pakistan.
On the other hand, Pakistan will play nine Tests in this year, including these two against Bangladesh.
