DHAKA, Oct 17, 2024, (BSS)- Bangladeshi ultra distance runner Imamur Rahman will compete in the  TCS Amsterdam Marathon 2024 which will be held on Sunday (Oct 20). 

Over 22,500 runners from 80 plus countries across the glove will participate in this race.

Imamur said: "TCS Amsterdam Marathon is one of the prestigious Marathon. A lot of runners, including elite runners, will take part in this tournament. It is great opportunity to represent my country on the stage of this kind of marathon. It is indeed a matter of pride to raise the flag of our country on foreign land.”

After completing the Vietnam Ultra Trail and Portugal Super Half Series last year, Imamur completed Dhaka Marathon, Phuket 100KM Ultra Marathon, Udonpit Run and Pattaya Marathon this year.

The youngster is also gearing up to represent his country in more ultra and ultra trail marathons in future.
