DHAKA, Oct 25, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh U-17 national football team manager
Zahid Hasan Amely said his boys are quite motivated after team's massive
victory against Macau in the AFC Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers.
Bangladesh thrashed Macau 7-0 in their third group match of the AFC Asian Cup
2025 Qualifiers held today (Friday) at Prince Stadium in Phnom Penh, the
capital of Cambodia.
"The way our boys played the match against Macau was absolutely superb,
especially in the second half, captain Faysal led the team from the front
scoring four goals in the match. He has down his job properly. After this win
boys are really motivated ahead of the next match against Afghanistan," Amely
said through a video message today (Friday) after the match.
He said his team is now in comfortable position after back to back win in the
last two group matches. After losing the first match, the boys understood
that there is no alternative way but to win and gave their maximum effort in
the matches.
He also hoped that his boys would keep the same performance in their last
group match against Afghanistan.
