Nine more matches of School Handball meet decided 

DHAKA, Nov 6, 2024 (BSS)- Nine more matches --  five of boy’s and four of girl’s section  -- of Tasmery Under-14 School Handball tournament (boy’s and girl’s) have been decided on the second day (Wednesday) match held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital.

In the day’s boy’s section matches, Mitali Bidyapith High School beat Navy College by 8-5 goals after trailing the first half by 3-4 goals, Sunnydale defeated Uttar Kafrul High School by 10-1 goals after dominating the first half by 5-0 goals, Heed International School edged past Khaled Haider Memorial High School by 5-4 goals after the first half ended by 2-2 goals draw, Scholastica, Uttara blanked Cambrian School and College by 7-0 goals after leading the first half by 2-0 goals and Narinda Govt. High School beat South Point School and College  by 15-5 goals after dominating the first half by 9-3 goals.   
 
In the girl’s section matches, Navy College beat South Point School and College by 13-4 goals after leading the first half by 9-3 goals, Sunnydale defeated Kodomtola Purbo Basabo School by 16-1 goals after dominating the first half by 11-0 goals, Viqarunnisa Noon School & College beat Scholastica Uttara by 13-1 goals after leading the first half by 6-1 goals and Sher-e- Bangla Girls College defeated Navy College by 6-4 goals after leading the first half by 4-2 goals.  
  
A total of twenty-eight schools handball teams of Dhaka Metropolis --sixteen of boys’ and twelve of girls’ – are participating in the meet, sponsored by Tasmery Group and organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation.
