DHAKA, Nov 11, 2024 (BSS)-Aminul Islam Bilob hit 82 as Dhaka Metro recovered
from early collapse to take a 175-run lead against Dhaka Division in their
fourth round game of the National Cricket League (NCL) at Sylhet Academy
Ground today.
At stumps on Day 3, Metro reached 186-6 after a collapse that saw them being
reduced to 83-5.
Biplob then shared 101-run for the sixth wicket stand with Naim Sheikh who
scored 48, to help the side steady the innings.
Dhaka Division brought them back into the contest against, having claimed the
wicket of Biplob at the fag end of the day.
Gazi Tahjibul Islam was batting on 31 with Abu Haider Rony on 2.
Earlier, resuming the day at 254-6, Dhaka Division were bowled out for 315
with Shuvagata Hom making highest 83.
That enabled Dhaka to take just 11-run first innings lead as Metro were
bowled out for 304.
