DHAKA, Nov 26, 2024 (BSS)- Fast bowler Mehedi Hasan claimed seven wickets for
25 runs to spark a sudden life to the match between Rangpur and Dhaka Metro
before it ended in a draw at Cox's Bazar Academy Ground today.
In the face of the devastating bowling of the Rangpur bowler Mehedi, Dhaka
Metro were bowled out for 118 in its second innings. But the bails were drawn
for the final day before Rangpur came to bat for the second time in the
match.
Resuming the day at 253-9, Rangpur earlier were bowled out for 304, conceding
a 174-run lead as Metro amassed 475 before being all out.
As the match was destined to draw, Mehedi's bowling brought a life to the
match suddenly.
However, Metro have two wins, two draws and two defeats in six matches so far
while Rangpur won two matches, lost one and drew three.
