DHAKA, Dec 2, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Women's team wrapped Ireland innings for 185 in the third and final ODI at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium today.
The Tigresses had already clinched the series following the victory in first two matches. A victory in the third match will not only help them sweep the series but also put them in favourable position for a direct qualification to the ICC World Cup.
Electing to bat first, Ireland rode on skipper Gaby Lewis's 52 to compile a moderate total.
Orla Prendergast made 27 while Amy Hunter added 23.
Fahima Khatun was the most successful bowler for Bangladesh with 3-43 while Sultana Khatun and Nahida Akter took two wickets apiece.
