DHAKA, Dec 2, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) today condoled the death of 2010 South Asian Games gold medallist shooter Syeda Sadia Sultana, said a BOA press release.
Syeda Sadia Sultana breathed her last today (Monday) at 2 pm due to brain haemorrhage at Chattogram Medical College and Hospital at the age of 31.
In a condolence message, the president of BOA and Army Chief Waker-Uz-Zaman and its secretary General Syed Shahed Reza, officials and employees expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Sadia and conveyed deep sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
Sadia was part of Bangladesh team that won gold medal in 2010 SA Games 10-metre air rifle team event.
