DHAKA, Dec 4, 2024 (BSS)-The Bangladesh U-21 youth hockey team will be accorded reception tomorrow (Thursday) for qualifying in FIH Hockey Junior World Cup for the first time, said a press release.

Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) president and Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan will accord reception to the youth hockey team at BAF Falcon Hall at 13.00 pm, after the youth hockey team will return home tomorrow (Thursday) morning from Oman. 

Bangladesh set history by qualifying in the junior World Cup after thrashing Thailand by 7-2 goals in a place-deciding encounter of the Junior Asia Cup held on Tuesday last.
