DHAKA, Dec 9, 2024 (BSS)- Bangladesh women's hockey team take on Thailand in 
their third group A match of the Women's Hockey Junior Asia Cup scheduled to 
be held tomorrow (Tuesday) in Muscat, Oman.
 
The match kicks off at 9 pm Bangladesh time. 

The girls in red and green, who have been placed in Group A along with China, 
defending champions India, Thailand and Malaysia, will play their last group 
match against Malaysia on December 11.

Five highest-ranked teams will qualify for the 2025 Women's FIH Hockey Junior 
World Cup which will be held next year in Chile.

Earlier, Bangladesh started their Women's Hockey Junior Asia Cup campaign 
with a losing note as they suffered a massive 19-0 goals defeat to strong 
China in their opening group A match and conceded 13-1 goals defeat in their 
second group match.
