DHAKA, Dec 19, 2024 (BSS)- Abahani Limited Dhaka take on holder Bashundhara Kings in one of the fourth round matches of Bangladesh Premier League Football (BPL) scheduled to be held tomorrow (Friday) at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla.

In the day's another match of the fourth round fixture, Mohammedan Sporting Club will face Bangladesh Police Football Club at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.

Both the matches kick off at 2.30 pm.
 
Bashundhara Kings earlier thrashed Chittagong Abahani Limited by 7-0 goals in their league opening match but they lost to Mohammedan Sporting Club in their second match.

The league champions however bounced back to register a 4-1 victory over Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society in their third match of the league.

On the other hand, the sixth times league champions Abahani Limited blanked Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by 2-0, defeated Dhaka Wanderers Club 1-0 but they lost to their arch-rival Mohammedan Sporting Club by 1-0 goal.

The black and white Motijheel outfit Mohammedan who maintained all-win run in the league, earlier beat Dhaka Wanderer Club by 6-0 and edged past Bashundhara Kings and Abahani Limited Dhaka by an identical margin of 1-0 goal.

While Bangladesh Police Football Club lost by 2-1 goals to Brothers Union in their league opening match, defeated Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by 4-1 goals and blanked Dhaka Wanderers Club by 4-0 goals.

In the remaining fourth round matches on Saturday (Dec 21), Brothers Union will take on old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj, Fortis Football Club meet Dhaka Wanderers Club at Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital and Chittagong Abahani Limited play against Fakirerpool Young Men's Club.
